The aim of the Data Protection Day is to give European citizens the chance to understand what personal information about individuals is collected and how they should be properly secured.

Research shows that 92% of European SMEs with mobile workers have experienced laptop theft. The average incident in an SME occurs once every 251 days and 54% of SMEs have experienced a laptop theft in the past six months. “Faced with the fact that a laptop which is not locked up is far more likely to be stolen, it’s important to be aware that prevention is better than cure.” Says Stephen Hoare Kensington’s Security Business Development Director.
